How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your MORPHE account and all associated data directly within the app by following these steps:
Step 1: Open the MORPHE app and go to the Profile tab (bottom right).
Step 2: Scroll down to the Account section.
Step 3: Tap "Delete Account".
Step 4: Confirm the deletion in the dialog that appears.
⚠ This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
Once you confirm, your account and all data will be permanently deleted.
What Data Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Account information — your email address, display name, and profile data
- Dream journal — all dream transcripts and AI-generated analyses
- Audio recordings — any temporarily stored audio files (note: audio is already deleted immediately after processing)
- Subscription data — your subscription status and analysis history
- Firebase Authentication account — your login credentials
Data Retention
All user data is deleted immediately upon account deletion. No data is retained after deletion, with the following exception:
- Device-level analysis counter — an anonymous counter tied to your device (not your identity) is retained to prevent abuse of free trial limits. This counter contains no personal information.
Subscription Cancellation
If you have an active Premium subscription, deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. Please cancel your subscription through Google Play Store → Subscriptions before deleting your account to avoid further charges.
